In space.... tears turn into bubbles.

This pic was inspired by the Greg Bear novella Eon, in which one of the heroines leaves Earth and her beloved. She knows that she might not ever see him away yet she has to go to enter the biggest adventure in her lifetime. And when the shuttle enters space she cries, and surpriced she realises that the tears in weigthless state (just as any liquid) take the shape of flying bubbles.

The lady is an old photo of a friend - quite a bit manipulated and the bg is a 3D I made for an unfinished space suite + Orion from NASA's free gallery.

The port window - well, it's actually a port window on a boat, a vintage old steamer I rose with once. Then I made some changes with the texture and sheen to give it a kind of sci-fi look.
