Description

Demeter: Now do not turn that horn on your frigging hat and go invisible on me, I have not finished speaking to you!
Hades: When finish with your bull already then. Besides, it's a helmet, not a hat.
Demeter: Helmet, hat, cap whatever, you are not going anywhere with my daughter. Especially not down under!
Persephone: Mother listen...
Demeter: Core, we have talked about this, you are way to young to understand what you are up to, running away with Hades of all people as some kind of teen revolt will not benefit you in the long run. When you come to your senses, you are stuck down there away from the sun and the sea and the greenery you love so much!
Hades: You can at least call her by the name she...
Persephone: I am not using Hades for a teen revolt. Besides, I'm 20, don't you think a teen revolt is a bit late.
Demeter: We're going to need Zeus to talk some sense into you both!
Hades: Right, let's get Zeus here!

Zeus: Why am I hearing this again? Hades, I told you to return Demeter's daughter, or we'd never seen an end to this unreasonable winter and draught. And you did, because your workload got overbearing down under with so many dying. So what is this now about?
Hades: She's...
Demeter: He'd
Persephone: Zeus, I...
Zeus: One at a time, please!
Persephone: I want to be with Hades! But I don't want mother to be moody with me because of that. Of course I'll help her in the gardens too. Now and then.
Demeter: You cannot do that if you're down there. With him!
Hades: So why can't you take care of your gardens yourself? It's not like everyone is crazy about your boring flowers anyway.
Zeus: Hades, it's not a good idea to insult Demeter if you want her to relent in the case of Persephone. Because then you'll never...
Hades: Why can't I have the woman I love? Why should I be denied what everyone else get, because of Demeter being so stubborn and insensitive.
Demeter: I am not..
Zeus: Demeter, you needed help in the gardens, you said. From your daughter?
Demeter: Yes, I've taught her everything and I don't intend her to go throwing it all away on a whim.
Persephone: I am not...
Zeus: Wait a moment, Hades, you want to marry Persephone.
Hades: Sure! Or I'd never torn up heaven and earth over this!
Zeus: And what do you wish, Persephone
Persephone: I wish there was a way to do both.
Zeus: There is. In a way. How about this. You two marry, and stay together during auttumn and winter when nothing grows anyway. And during spring and summer Persephone comes up and continue her work for her mother. And it's not like you can see each other anyway, Hades, you just have to come around a bit more often. What you say, guys?

After all three had talked a while at the same time, they realized Zeus idea was the best one, and they went for it, even if both Demeter and Hades appeared a bit sour-faced. But even gods have to learn to compromise.

A dispute of the Olympians Gods. A classic very well done here.
