Artist's Comments
Only the title is inspired by David Bowie's lyrics, because this came to my mind when hearing that song.
But his lyrics isn't really about Mars and this work is inspired by those vintage SF magazines from the 50ies with heroes and heroines and fantastic animals on the red planet. Before we found out that there's nothing more there than probable bacterias when it comes to life. But I loved that vision of Mars upon reading those mags - old even when I grew up, they used to be my dad's. So I made this artwork as a tribute to them. And don't complain about the moons, I know Mars' Phobos and Deimos are nothing but boulders, but in those stories of old they were orbs just like our Moon. Tools: Terragen, DAZ, Photoshop. One of  s male mannequins are the basis for my Martian man, because I wanted that very sterile look.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°  &  &  have the right to publish this art work |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
