Now this was what the picture originally looked at long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Before Lord Darth's press agent Mr Lucifer Sauronman beheld the shot and started to tear at the little hair he had and scream:
No, no, no, no - by the dark force NONO! That teddybear has to GO! How can we send this picture out to the billions out there and still keep up Darth's image as the dark dark sith lord! Now edit that bear away - or you will be thrown into the dungeons of Belbursia and never see any sun again!!!

So it was just for the poor picture maker to hark and obey... And in the released picture the bear was no more.
