Sith Action

Okay - so I watched this www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGbxms… just like everyone else I imagine. And then I went and made this work, a battling Sith lady. For a while I've been thinking about lightsabres more resembling fire than cut-off beams and this was a chanse to picture what it might look like. This is also the first work rendered in Iray which I've been pleased enough with to go ahead and post here. The difference between DAZ Iray and 3D light is quite a handful.  Especially for someone like me who often build ambiences, motion and feels using light and shadows. But I've learned a few things about Iray the hard way. Then there's some postworked rayworks to enhance the movement in the pic, which I used Photoshop for. 3D items from DAZ, rayworks from Ron, also DAZ.
