Time goes by - so slowly

I remember when I was a kid and we used to do the countdown to Christmas, and the feeling of how time was more or less creeping forward. Like being enchanted into something more gelatious than usual. Perhaps here is where it happen. Some primordial goddess experimenting with making time go slower from time to time. Or faster, like in the mornings where you have to fix all those things before rushing away to work.
