Tearing down the house

It's amazing how little time it takes to tear down a building. On my way to work I pass this square called Östermalmstorg and there has been a building housing a theatre that went bankrupt a few years back. And until now the house has been empty, no use for it. There has been talks about turning it into a hotel or a mall, but no one have really "bitten" on that, and a while back the real estate was bought by someone who obviously found that the house was useless and decided to tear it all down. About two weeks ago the work started and today there's only rubbles left where there once was a house. A bit sad in a way. And the view of the square has been completely changed. Much more air! Wonder what they are going to build on that real estate instead…

On the other hand my office building has got a couple of new neighbors including a completely black hotel and some other futuristic-looking houses. And they have grown like mushrooms. Where there just used to be junkyards and a view over railway tracks about a year ago when I started working in that place, there are now impressive high-rises. And it amazes me how fast they can make these things happen these days. Less than a year it has taken…

My 3K kiriban is won. By the two lucky deviants & who both want their pictures manipulated. The former has already sent along hers, and I'm working on it in my mind now. I have some ideas, now I just need to find the right raw material and stock to use. So be patient
