Flying the flags
Yesterday we celebrated our National Holiday in Sweden. That day is also a celebration dedicated to the Swedish flag. And thus there was a special flag ceremony held outside the Museum of Naval History in Stockholm. A ceremony where they showed several of the earlier versions of the Swedish flags.
My brother took those pictures of the flags, where the present one flies to the right and then they were hung in backwards chronological age to the right.

And these are oldies. The yellow and blue striped one is the oldest one and it's from the 12:th century. (Well not exactly that flag, but the design.


Summer is here - at last!
It took quite some time this year! And to be honest, it started to feel like we would never get a summer to speak of again. Last summer was more or less cancelled and then we got autumn already in late August, and then it seemed to be autumn all the way into this May. No winter, no snow no nothing, just this gray, overcast drizzling emo weather that drove you nuts.

But now we finally got summer, with sunshine and warmth. And then we Stockholmers start our pilgrimage out in the parks with our picnic bags or to the outdoor cafés or the beaches. It's still a bit cold in the water to bath yet, but that doesn't disencourage all the people. Some still jump in and then they jump out screaming

And when you walk by the Djurgården canal you'll see the boats line up just like cars in the rush hour Quite a funny sight.

Kiriban time again
Yeah, I'm closing in on 35 000 in another 500 watches. So I'm doing another kiriban, same procedure as last time: Printscreen the # 35 000 or the closest and put it in your scraps and then note me, and I'll come and have a look. In return I'll make a fantasy pic just for you! It can be either:
